Current Banten Region Food Prices: Prices of Chicken Meat, Sugar, and Chilies Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (6/12/2024) at 14.23 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, kembung fish, bandeng fish, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), SPHP rice, chicken eggs, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium rice prices surged the highest by Rp260 (2.04%) to Rp12,990 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most sharply by Rp990 (11.77%) to Rp7,420 per kg.
