Central Java Food Prices Thursday (26/9): Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (26/9/2024) at 15.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, and kembung fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, milkfish, granulated sugar, pure beef, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp460 (1.97%) to Rp23,850 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp350 (1.54%) to Rp22,380 per kg.

6. Kembung Fish: Rp31,380 per kg (up 0.67%)

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,520 per kg (down 0.16%)
