The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reported that the realization of state expenditure in the State Budget (APBN) reached Rp2,240.8 trillion until October 2023. This figure is down 4.7% year-on-year (yoy).

Meanwhile, the realization of non-K/L expenditure in October 2023 reached Rp803.6 trillion, or down 12.39% (yoy). This expenditure item was channeled for payments of electricity subsidies and compensation, fuel subsidies and compensation, 3 kg LPG subsidies, the Kartu Prakerja program, and housing subsidies.

Finally, the realization of regional transfer expenditure (TKD) amounted to Rp668.5 trillion, down 1.6% (yoy).

As of October 2023, state revenue grew by 2.8% to Rp2,240.1 trillion. Revenue exceeding expenditure resulted in an APBN surplus of Rp700 billion, equivalent to 0.003% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
