Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Salt, Rice, and Chilies Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have been observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (19/6/2024) at 10:09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,640 (7.22%) to Rp39,230 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the largest price decrease, down by Rp260 (5.2%) to Rp4,740 per kg.
