Daily Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in Modern Markets, March 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:24 WIB, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets in Riau Islands Province has not changed compared to the previous day or the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets has increased from the previous record of Rp19,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets in Riau Islands Province over the past three months has increased by 13.26% from the previous trading price of Rp18,100 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 37.69%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2023 with a decrease of -20.95%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau Islands Province show ten commodities decreased and 19 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Granulated Sugar, Red Onion, Medium-Sized White Onion, Super I Quality Rice, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium-Sized Red Onion, White Onion, and Local Granulated Sugar.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in Riau Islands Province:

2. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per kg: Rp20,500 (up 5.67%)
3. Curly Red Chilies per kg: Rp72,200 (up 46.15%)
4. Rice per kg: Rp14,350 (up 2.5%)
5. Red Chili Peppers per kg: Rp93,400 (up 93.78%)
6. Chili Peppers per kg: Rp94,900 (up 78.05%)
7. Granulated Sugar per kg: Rp17,050 (down 1.16%)
8. Green Chili Peppers per kg: Rp96,400 (up 88.28%)
9. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp19,450 (up 2.91%)
10. Medium I Quality Rice per kg: Rp16,150 (up 20.52%)
11. Red Onion per kg: Rp36,150 (down 22.09%)
12. Medium-Sized White Onion per kg: Rp33,250 (down 0.89%)
13. Medium II Quality Rice per kg: Rp13,500 (up 1.5%)
14. Super I Quality Rice per kg: Rp16,550 (down 4.89%)
