Today''s Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Salt, Rice, and Onion Prices Decline

The prices of several food items in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (August 27, 2025) at 11:17 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler eggs, curly red chili, packaged wheat flour, garlic bulbs, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, skipjack tuna, medium rice, red onion, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili experienced the highest increase of Rp491 (1.2%) to Rp41,429 per kg. The price of dry soybean seeds (imported) saw the sharpest decrease of Rp9,600 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
