Bali's Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (24/9/2024) at 10:40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, red chilies, farmer-level corn, chicken meat, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, fine iodized salt, dry soybean (import), medium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,170 (3.06%) to Rp39,440 per kg. Fine iodized salt experienced the largest price decrease of Rp260 (2.12%) to Rp12,030 per kg.
