Daily Price of Domestic Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets, February 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in South Sumatra Province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp17,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in South Sumatra over the past three months has increased by 3.77% from the previously recorded price of Rp17,250.

The record high for the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2021 with an increase of 110.59%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2021 with a decrease of -52.51%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sumatra show three commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Grade 1 Beef, Chicken Meat, and Fresh Broiler Chicken.
