South Sumatra Food Prices Tuesday (September 3rd): Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (September 3, 2024) at 11:08 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, milkfish, shallots, dry soybeans (import), and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, red chilies, pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,010 (2.45%) to Rp42,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of garlic cloves decreased the most, by Rp310 (0.84%) to Rp36,520 per kg.
