Jakarta's Latest Food Prices: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (16/11/2024) at 17.52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are milkfish, Indian mackerel, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp710 (1.77%) to Rp40,790 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies fell the most sharply by Rp1,660 (5.25%) to Rp29,950 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in DKI Jakarta according to Bapanas on November 16, 2024, at 17.52 WIB.
