West Java Food Prices Tuesday (24/9): Sugar, Oil, and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (24/9/2024) at 08.48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SHP rice, pure beef, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), and chicken eggs have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

SHP rice prices surged the highest by Rp50 (0.4%) to Rp12,420 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most by Rp2,710 (8.84%) to Rp27,960 per kg.
