Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Chicken Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (6/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, garlic cloves, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, red chilies, shallots, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices increased the most by Rp1,350 (3.76%) to Rp37,290 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel decreased the most sharply by Rp2,760 (7.47%) to Rp34,170 per kg.
