Current Food Prices in Jambi Province: Prices of Sugar, Rice, and Chilies Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (14/10/2024) at 10:33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), broiler chicken meat, pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, premium rice, fine iodized salt, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp830 (4.03%) to Rp21,410 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most sharply by Rp5,170 (17.14%) to Rp25,000 per kg.
