Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta Region Thursday (28/8): Salt Prices Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (28/8/2025) at 09.34 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption salt, consumption sugar, broiler chicken meat, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic bulb, skipjack tuna, curly red chili, large red chili, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt prices rose the highest by Rp1,292 (11.3%) to Rp12,727 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel fish prices fell the sharpest by Rp2,729 (6.73%) to Rp37,800 per kg.
