Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (22/8/2024) at 14:54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, granulated sugar, milkfish, premium rice, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk cooking oil, shallots, red curly chilies, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp970 (3.16%) to Rp31,640 per kg. Red curly chilies saw the largest price decrease of Rp850 (2.48%) to Rp33,430 per kg.
