Today's Food Prices in Banten: Cooking Oil Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 5 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, red chili peppers, iodized fine salt, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, up Rp470 (5.9%) to Rp8,430 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop, down Rp730 (1.86%) to Rp38,480 per kg.
