Lampung Region's Current Food Prices: Rice and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (9/12/2024) at 11.09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, chicken eggs, pure beef, fine iodized salt, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp190 (0.64%) to Rp29,850 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price drop, falling by Rp1,110 (3.21%) to Rp33,510 per kg.
