Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Sugar and Onion Prices Drop

Food prices in Jakarta today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (11/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, medium-grain rice, premium rice, broiler chicken, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, shallots, bulk wheat flour, garlic cloves, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices saw the highest increase of Rp2,070 (5.4%) to Rp40,410 per kg. Red chili prices saw the largest decrease of Rp4,040 (8.82%) to Rp41,740 per kg.
