Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Prices of Chicken, Salt, and Eggs Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (16/4/2025) at 13.17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include fresh buffalo meat (local), granulated sugar, pure beef, large red chilies, and frozen buffalo meat (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, milkfish, Minyakita, skipjack tuna, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp718 (0.88%) to Rp82,409 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel decreased the most by Rp491 (1.18%) to Rp40,945 per kg.
