Medium-sized Garlic Prices in Modern Markets for the March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 16:23 WIB, the daily medium-sized garlic price in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara province has not changed compared to the previous day, as has the price trend over the past week.

Regarding prices over the past month, the daily medium-sized garlic price in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp62,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily medium-sized garlic price in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara over the past three months has fallen by 20.03%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily medium-sized garlic price in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara province is traded at Rp74,900 per kg.

The record increase in daily medium-sized garlic prices in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 95.48%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -48.45%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods today in East Nusa Tenggara show that 11 commodities have decreased and nine have increased. Staple foods with decreased prices are Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Bird's Eye Chili, Chicken Meat, Red Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 2, Low Quality II Rice, Garlic, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Cooking Oil, and Medium-sized Garlic.

Following are the prices of nine staple foods monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the past month in East Nusa Tenggara province:

5. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp35,900 per kg (down 21.79%)
6. Medium Quality I Rice per Kg Rp16,000 per kg (unchanged)
7. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp17,700 per kg (up 1.14%)
8. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp49,100 per kg (down 7.71%)
9. Super Quality I Rice per Kg Rp20,400 per kg (unchanged)
10. Red Chili per Kg Rp76,900 per kg (down 9.42%)
11. Rice per Kg Rp16,250 per kg (up 0.31%)
12. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 2 per Kg Rp34,850 per kg (down 31.4%)
13. Red Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp35,900 per kg (unchanged)
14. Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp17,600 per kg (up 0.57%)
