Central Java Food Price Update Today: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Sunday, April 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (14/4/2024) at 10:10 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), medium-grain rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp4,370 (13.58%) to Rp36,560 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers decreased the least, by Rp5,130 (12.22%) to Rp36,860 per kg.
