Food Prices in DKI Jakarta Latest: Chili Prices Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (August 4, 2025) at 10:07 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged wheat flour, mackerel, broiler chicken meat, medium rice, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita (cooking oil), consumption salt, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken eggs, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper commodity increased the most by Rp15,932 (27.36%) to Rp74,167 per kg. The price of dried soybean seeds (imported) decreased the most by Rp9,600 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
