The daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province has decreased by 13.86% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp41,650. This price is up Rp1,250 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp48,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in South Kalimantan over the past three months has fallen by 3.48%. According to historical records of food prices on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province was traded at Rp43,150.

The record high for the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 87.09%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a decrease of -30.56%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Kalimantan recorded three commodities decreasing and ten others increasing. Basic commodities with price decreases are Beef, Red Chili Peppers, and Chili Peppers.
