Red Chili Prices in East Java Traditional Markets Down 12.74% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 2:46 PM WIB, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in East Java Province has decreased by Rp 9,150 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 76,700.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp 87,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in East Java over the past three months has increased by 214.99% from the previous price of Rp 24,350.

The record high for the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2017 with an increase of 54.46%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2021 with a decrease of -30.27%.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities today in East Java show 14 commodities decreased and nine others increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Curly Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Premium Quality Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Bird's Eye Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Bird's Eye Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Bird's Eye Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.

7. Daily Red Chilies per Kg in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp 39,700 (down 19.88%)
8. Medium-sized Garlic per Kg: Rp 40,900 (up 4.6%)
