Lampung Region's Current Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Beef Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (6/12/2024) at 11:09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, medium-grain rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, premium rice, milkfish, fine iodized salt, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was red chilies, up by Rp1,870 (7.95%) to Rp25,380 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was for dry soybean seeds (import), down Rp240 (2.29%) to Rp10,260 per kg.
