Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Rice, Chili, and Sugar Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (20/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), garlic bulbs, pure beef, chicken eggs, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, bulk wheat flour, shallots, red chilies, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of imported dry soybeans saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp220 (1.87%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots experienced the largest price drop, decreasing by Rp2,240 (7.24%) to Rp28,700 per kg.
