Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Chicken, Cooking Oil, and Eggs Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (14/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, pure beef, milkfish, red chilies, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice saw the highest price increase of Rp550 (3.49%) to Rp16,320 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili saw the steepest price decrease of Rp5,840 (7.62%) to Rp70,850 per kg.
