Fresh Chicken Egg Prices Highest in These 10 Provinces (Friday, June 28, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of fresh chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 33,540 per kg, as of Friday, June 28, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 33,510 per kg.

The daily price of fresh chicken eggs in Gorontalo's modern markets was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 45,050 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh chicken eggs in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 27,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in North Maluku's modern markets, fresh chicken eggs were sold at Rp 45,000 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh chicken eggs in East Kalimantan was Rp 43,900 per kg, Maluku Rp 41,900 per kg, and Bali Rp 40,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 17 provinces with fresh chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh chicken eggs are Central Java, Bangka Belitung Islands, and West Sulawesi.
