Jakarta, DKI Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

Food prices in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (10/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, shallots, premium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, red chilies, mackerel, pure beef, and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,970 (5.96%) to Rp35,000 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp350 (3.01%) to Rp11,290 per kg.
