West Sumatra Food Prices Monday (October 28th): Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (28/10/2024) at 11:48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, Indian mackerel, iodized fine salt, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, broiler eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp2,360 (6.27%) to Rp39,980 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most by Rp1,660 (4.05%) to Rp39,360 per kg.
