Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (23/6/2024) at 15.37 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, broiler chicken meat, curly red chilies, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken eggs, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp2,170 (4.65%) to Rp48,810 per kg. Bulk wheat flour experienced the largest price decrease of Rp160 (1.55%) to Rp10,160 per kg.
