Daily Cooking Oil Prices in Modern Markets Across Maluku Province Increased by 7.27% Over the Past Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Maluku Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp19,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Maluku over the past three months has decreased by 0.93%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Maluku Province is traded at Rp21,600 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 31%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2023 with a decrease of -17.23%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Maluku show 13 commodities decreased and eight others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Red Chili, Low-Quality Rice II, Beef, Chicken, Quality 2 Beef, Rice, Garlic, Curly Red Chili, Medium-Sized Garlic, Red Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Fresh Chicken, and Super Quality Rice I.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price changes over the past month in Maluku Province:

1. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per kg: Rp21,350 (up 4.66%)
2. Large Red Chili per kg: Rp83,900 (unchanged)
3. Red Chili per kg: Rp85,900 (down 7.14%)
4. Low-Quality Rice II per kg: Rp16,700 (down 2.05%)
5. Chicken Eggs per kg: Rp39,050 (up 2.09%)
6. Bird's Eye Chili per kg: Rp77,950 (up 2.23%)
7. Beef per kg: Rp139,900 (down 15.67%)
8. Chicken per kg: Rp49,900 (down 1.96%)
9. Quality 2 Beef per kg: Rp139,900 (down 19.09%)
10. Rice per kg: Rp17,000 (down 0.87%)
11. Garlic per kg: Rp53,500 (down 8.08%)
12. Premium Quality Sugar per kg: Rp18,500 (unchanged)
13. Medium Quality Rice II per kg: Rp17,200 (unchanged)
14. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp58,000 (down 7.2%)
15. Medium-Sized Garlic per kg: Rp53,500 (down 8.08%)
16. Shallots per kg: Rp65,900 (up 52.55%)
