Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Prices (June 14th): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (14/6/2024) at 14.21 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, skipjack tuna, milkfish, curly red chilies, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, Indian mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp3,080 (5.96%) to Rp54,730 per kg. Shallots experienced the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp830 (1.89%) to Rp43,010 per kg.
