Yogyakarta Special Region's Latest Food Prices: Chicken, Rice, and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Sunday (11/8/2024) at 12:20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased in price and 7 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, iodized fine salt, mackerel, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red onions, premium rice, broiler chicken, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp370 (1.04%) to Rp35,980 per kg. Red onions, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp810 (4.0%) to Rp19,440 per kg.
