Aceh Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Wednesday, January 31, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (31/1/2024) at 13:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, iodized fine salt, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp600 (1.69%) to Rp36,080 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease, falling by Rp530 (1.52%) to Rp34,430 per kg.
