Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (10/7/2024) at 12:25 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, granulated sugar, broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,300 (11.97%) to Rp12,160 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel experienced the largest decrease, dropping Rp2,920 (8.03%) to Rp33,430 per kg.

9. Indian Mackerel: Rp33,430 per kg (down 8.03%)
