Bali's Daily Food Prices: Oil and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (4/9/2024) at 14:54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, red onions, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken eggs saw the highest increase of Rp900 (3.39%) to Rp27,460 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn saw the sharpest decrease of Rp120 (2.07%) to Rp5,690 per kg.
