Daily Cooking Oil Prices in Riau Islands Province's Modern Markets Increased by 2.91% Over the Past Month

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Riau Islands Province is recorded at Rp19,450 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets has increased from Rp18,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Riau Islands Province over the past three months has increased by 8.66% from the previous record of Rp17,900 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in this province was in June 2022, with an increase of 33.33%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2023, at -18.45%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau Islands Province show three commodities decreased and 15 increased. The commodities with price decreases are Large Red Chili, Beef, and Grade 1 Beef.
