Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Rice Down

The price of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (5/11/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, red chilies, chicken eggs, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, chicken meat, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp7,770 (19.59%) to Rp47,430 per kg. Mackerel experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp6,480 (18.59%) to Rp28,370 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 18 food commodities in DKI Jakarta according to Bapanas on November 5, 2024, at 09.15 WIB.
