Latest East Java Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (27/12/2024) at 15:32 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, shallot bulbs, iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp3,870 (10.12%) to Rp42,130 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most, by Rp4,070 (12.12%) to Rp29,520 per kg.

6. Chicken Meat: Rp34,660 per kg (down 6.15%)
7. Mackerel: Rp33,800 per kg (down 3.35%)
8. Milkfish: Rp32,900 per kg (down 4.58%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,520 per kg (down 12.12%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,430 per kg (down 1.08%)
11. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp17,770 per liter (up 4.1%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,590 per liter (up 0.86%)
