Latest Food Prices in Bali: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down (Tuesday, February 6, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (February 6, 2024) at 12:24 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, milkfish, pure beef, premium rice, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, fine iodized salt, mackerel, medium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp4,400 (6.83%) to Rp68,790 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil decreased the most by Rp640 (4.28%) to Rp14,320 per liter.
