Today's Food Prices in East Java: Salt and Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (15/10/2024) at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, SPHP rice, medium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, premium rice, chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp710 (2.03%) to Rp35,670 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp560 (2.92%) to Rp18,640 per kg.
