Today's Food Price Update in Riau: Prices of Chili Peppers, Chicken, and Onions Rise (Saturday, January 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Riau today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (13/1/2024) at 12:31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, medium-grain rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest, increasing by Rp1,930 (5.17%) to Rp39,280 per kg. Bulk wheat flour prices decreased the most, dropping by Rp290 (2.47%) to Rp11,450 per kg.

9. Chicken Meat: Rp34,950 per kg (up 0.06%)
