Food Prices in Jambi on Tuesday (July 9th): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (9/7/2024) at 12:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, red chilies, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, shallots, skipjack tuna, and Indian mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,680 (4.7%) to Rp37,430 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most sharply, down by Rp80 (0.65%) to Rp12,310 per kg.
