Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Salt and Beef Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (5/7/2024) at 11:43 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, chicken eggs, red chilies, medium rice, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk wheat flour, garlic cloves, chicken meat, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken eggs increased the most, by Rp720 (2.49%) to Rp29,650 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,080 (9.19%) to Rp10,670 per kg.
