Latest Food Prices in Central Kalimantan: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Thursday, January 18, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Central Kalimantan today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (18/1/2024) at 14.47 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, red chili peppers, chicken eggs, medium rice, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic cloves saw the highest price increase of Rp570 (1.45%) to Rp39,910 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp4,620 (7.75%) to Rp55,030 per kg.
