Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (20/6/2024) at 13.25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, red chilies, skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice saw the highest price increase of Rp130 (0.88%) to Rp14,890 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the largest price drop of Rp510 (6.97%) to Rp6,810 per kg.
