Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Chili Prices Up, Beef Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (26/4/2024) at 17.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, granulated sugar, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chilies increased the most, by Rp5,370 (11.22%) to Rp53,240 per kg. The price of pure beef decreased the least, by Rp1,720 (1.23%) to Rp138,160 per kg.
