Today's Food Price Update in Riau: Rice, Chili, and Onion Prices Increase (Tuesday, December 5, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Riau today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (5/12/2023) at 12:47 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, premium rice, chicken eggs, medium rice, and chicken meat.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken meat experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,180 (4.06%), reaching Rp30,220 per kg. Simple packaged cooking oil saw the lowest price decrease of Rp410 (2.53%), reaching Rp15,780 per liter.
