Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Sugar, Oil, and Cayenne Pepper Prices Rise

The prices of several food ingredients in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (25/10/2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include large red chilies, medium rice, packaged cooking oil, consumption sugar, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, broiler eggs, bulk wheat flour, broiler meat, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest increase of Rp2,824 (6.86%) to Rp44,000 per kg. Meanwhile, broiler meat prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp1,489 (3.7%) to Rp38,778 per kg.

2. Large Red Chili: Rp62,222 per kg (up 2.63%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp60,000 per kg (up 2.0%)
4. Shallots: Rp46,800 per kg (up 4.68%)
5. Milkfish: Rp46,111 per kg (down 1.19%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp45,000 per kg (down 2.17%)
7. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp44,000 per kg (up 6.86%)
8. Mackerel: Rp41,111 per kg (down 3.65%)
9. Bulb Garlic: Rp39,500 per kg (up 4.11%)
10. Broiler Meat: Rp38,778 per kg (down 3.7%)
11. Broiler Eggs: Rp30,500 per kg (down 0.48%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp21,000 per liter (up 0.6%)
